An atypical chandelier from the 1900s in copper, opaline and silk. The design close to the work of Belgian artists like Henry Van de Velde or Victor Horta from the Art Nouveau movement. Composed of hammered copper scrolls, it illuminates its environment with 5 opalines in the upper part and is extended with a pleated silk shade.
The composition is very contemporary for its time. It is when the world discovered electricity, and redesigned its new forms around Edison bulbs in 1900.
