In an Orientalist style, this Baccarat chandelier done in a very high quality of bronze and unusual style for a crystal maker. The Baccarat glassworks was founded in Lorraine in 1764. Its crystal water and the art of cutting made it famous, as did its know-how in the use of glass in superimposed and engraved layers. Opaline is Baccarat's other specialty. Since its creation, this crystal works has remained one of the emblematic companies of French luxury. A "Baccarat" can be recognized by its generous, skilfully cut crystal.
