These elegant candelabras, inspired by Antiquity, feature a column base and two tiers of lights. With six arms per tier, they combine architectural rigour with decorative opulence. Perfect for illuminating large spaces such as lounges or halls, they add a touch of majesty and sophistication. Their bases are often adorned with laurel or warrior motifs inspired by the Roman countryside, or as in the photo, with religious motifs.
The Empire style is very influenced by the Emperor Napoleon who imposes his taste for massive and imposing elements. We find the strong symbols of Napoleon (like the eagle or the bee) and war and military decorations. The expansion of the Empire will lead to the diffusion of this style throughout Europe.
