Impressive pair of Wrought iron sconces, with five lights and stylized flowers. On the upper part, a lace bouquet of metal flowers give all the magnificence to these wall brackets. Special order to adorn a carved wooden coat of arms (XVIII). The woods have been removed but can be returned on request. Good condition of use, original brown patina. Recent electrification. Alessandro Mazzucotelli was one of Italy's most renowned wrought-iron craftsmen of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Nicknamed the "iron magician", his exceptional creativity gave iron a "supple" and "flowery" appearance, a character that dominated Art Nouveau.
Imposante paire d’appliques en fer forgé à 5 lumières au décor de fleurs stylisées formant bouquet sur la partie supérieure. Commande particulière pour orner un blason en bois sculpté (XVIIIe). Les bois ont été retirés mais peuvent être restitués sur demande. Conditions : très bon état, patine brune d’origine. électrification récente. Alessandro Mazzucotelli est l'un des ferronniers d'art les plus réputés d'Italie de la fin du XIXème siècle au début du XXème siècle. Surnommé le "magicien du fer", il est doté d’une créativité exceptionnelle donnant au fer un aspect "souple" et "fleuri", caractère qui domina l’Art nouveau.
