Very beautiful hanging incense burner, this small bronze lantern with Japanese decorations and brown patina is surrounded by fish and its walls seem adorned with a tree. It can also be used as a table lamp. Second half of the 19th century.

Très joli brûle parfum suspendu, cette petite lanterne en bronze aux décors japonisants et patine brune est entourée de poissons et ses parois semblent parées d'un arbre. Elle peut également être posée, au choix de son utilisateur. Deuxième moitié du XIXème siècle.

A la fin du XIXe siècle, les bougies sont remplacées par l'éclairage au gaz puis par l’électricité à l’approche du XXe siècle.
