Hermès has a special relationship with golf, since its first ready-to-wear product was a golf jacket in 1925. From the scarf to the cufflinks, from the pouch holding a ball in its center to the classic golf bag, the evocations are numerous to satisfy both seasoned enthusiasts and amateurs. Here, we're talking about a completely different aesthetic evocation: this chandelier in black glass and white blown opaline glass plays the troublemaker. Its upside-down green in a flat, vertical geometry becomes a giant pendant that only the erudite will perceive otherwise. The ball in the center, a golfer's achievement, diffuses light without revealing its source. A refinement signed Hermès Paris, right down to the hook, which takes the form of a tie clip topped, once again, by a golf ball. Probably made between 1990 and 2000.

Before Lead crystal was discovered, the glass was mixed with Manganese, Tungstene or other materials. These materials used to give a smoky, violet or yellow tint to the glass. Our 18th Century Crystal recreates this effect, making it perfect for pieces that need to look antique or fit in a collection.
