This wrought iron chandelier with black patina and winged dragons whose legs hold oil lamps, evokes the medieval period and its fantastic animals. It is signed "Borgo Medievale 1933": the site of the "medieval village" hosted the Turin exhibition in 1884, the decor of which was none other than the reconstruction of a medieval village and its fortress on the banks of the Po, in Valentino Park.

Before Lead crystal was discovered, the glass was mixed with Manganese, Tungstene or other materials. These materials used to give a smoky, violet or yellow tint to the glass.
