Maroello & Guaita, dragon suspension, France, circa 1920. Made of iron, decorated with a dragon on a branch with 4 lights. The iron workshop Maroello Guaita is the result of the association in 1913 of Ubaldo Guaita with his cousin Vincent Maroello.
From the beginning of their collaboration they specialized in metal carpentry and had an important artistic activity based on lighting and art objects together with the Daum, Schneider and Muller brothers. The company had up to 20 employees and apprentices, including Piguet and Zadounaïsky. In 1937, their two sons, Charles Guaita and Charles Maroello took over the business with the same quality and rigor until 1970.
