This chandelier depicting two dragonflies on an iron crown with blue Murano glass cabochons is iconic of the wrought iron work of this Maestro, as seen in the "Ferrario Casa" in Milan where he decorated all the balconies of its favorite insects in what is now considered a major representation of the Milanese art nouveau or “Liberty Style”. A similar chandelier was realised by the artist for the entry porch of the Castiglioni Palace in Milan
Lustre aux Libellules Alessandro Mazzucotelli (1865 - 1938) Ce lustre figurant deux libellules posées sur une couronne de fer, aux cabochons de verre bleu de Murano est iconique chez le “Maestro” du fer forgé à l’instar de la casa Ferrario à Milan, dont il a orné tous les balcons de ses insectes préférés. s’inscrivant dès lors dans une représentation majeure de l’art nouveau Milanais, ou «Liberty Stile». Un exemplaire similaire a été réalisé par l’artiste pour le porche d’entrée du Palais Castiglioni à Milan
