Wrought iron suspension forming volutes, cascading water, and stylized leaves. A central vase is dressed with a lace metal basket and drops of amber color glass adorn the whole. There are similar pieces like this one in the Museum of Feltre, dedicated to the artist. They are very long and slender, combining wrought iron and glass from Murano.Condition of use, recent re-electrification. The central vase and all the tulips are original and the gold flanges are present on the leaves on the low parts of the chandelier.

Suspension en fer forgé formant volutes, cascade d’eau, et feuilles stylisées. Une coupe centrale est habillée d’un panier ajouré de métal et les gouttes de verre ambrées agrémentent l’ensemble. On retrouve des suspensions aériennes comme celles-ci au musée de Feltre, consacré à l’artiste. Elles sont très allongées et effilées, associant toujours fer forgé et verres de Murano. Conditions : état d’usage, nettoyage, ré-électrification récente. La verrerie centrale ainsi que les gouttes de verre ambrées sont d’origine, et les rehauts d’or bien présents sur l’ensemble des feuilles stylisées en partie basse.

18th Century Crystal

Before Lead crystal was discovered, the glass was mixed with Manganese, Tungstene or other materials. These materials used to give a smoky, violet or yellow tint to the glass. Our 18th Century Crystal recreates this effect, making it perfect for pieces that need to look antique or fit in a collection.
